Create a LUMA service account
Storyteq CMP Professional uses a LUMA service account to authenticate with your LUMA instance. You create the service account in LUMA, generate a token against it, and then supply the resulting secret key when setting up a workspace. For more context, see Understanding workspaces and portals.
| Before you begin, ensure you have administrator access to LUMA at System Domain level. |
Create the service account user
-
Sign in to LUMA.
-
Navigate to System Domain.
-
Create a new user and set the account type to Service Account.
-
Assign all available service permissions to the user.
Generate a service token
-
Select the service account user you created.
-
Select Create Token.
-
Copy the Secret Key displayed.
The secret key is only displayed once. Copy it before closing this view and store it securely.
The secret key is the value you enter in the Service Token field when setting up a workspace in Storyteq CMP Professional. See Set up a workspace.
