Enable shares for users
The shares feature allows users to share collections of assets with internal or external guests via a time-limited link. Access is granted by enabling the Shares service in LUMA.
Enable the Shares service in LUMA

In LUMA, navigate to the relevant user or group.

Select Services.

In the services list, locate Canopy and expand it to display the child services.

Enable the Shares service.

Save your changes.
| Where multiple users require access to shares, consider enabling the service at group level rather than configuring individual user accounts. |
Once the Shares service is enabled, affected users will see:

A Share button above asset thumbnails on assets pages, allowing them to create new shares or add assets to existing shares.

A Shares option in the left-hand main navigation menu, providing access to the shares list.
